Venus Retrograde: A 40-Day Practice in Self-Soothing
Venus carries two faces the ancients named separately — the morning star oriented toward desire and the restless pursuit of what is not yet had, and the evening star oriented toward pleasure and the savoring of what is already present. The retrograde is the crossing between these two modes, a 40-day period inviting the self consumed by its own hunger to develop a different capacity entirely.
