How do we help our client or audience by setting up our information for success ahead of time? How do we organize our speech or consultation? How do we establish benchmarks for rigorous attention to planetary positions, while also helping beginner and intermediate astrologers make sense of what we say? Most of all, how do we say it clearly and deliberately? In this talk, Andrew Watt will give us lessons from twenty years of teaching and a decade in Toastmasters, to help us be more prepared for both consultation and classroom.

Andrew B. Watt is an astrologer and poet living on a high hilltop in western Massachusetts with his wife and a cat named after an Egyptian Moon-god. Working with traditional resources from the Hellenistic era through to William Lilly, he practices astrology with a mix of deep analysis of the Decans and attention to the Terms, with a lyrical storyteller’s approach to consultation.
