Astrologers have always been fascinated with trying to find the most important planet in a chart. Throughout history they have developed a small number of techniques in order to find this most elusive and significant planet. This workshop will explore the history and origins of these more popular techniques, how they evolved over time, and provide a walkthrough for how to determine what each of them are in your own chart. We’ll also discuss the Guardian Daimon – a personal spiritual helper – how it can be identified with these techniques, and methods for consciously connecting with this guide based on the information we obtain from the discussed techniques.

Ryhan Butler has studied classical astrological techniques with an emphasis on medieval astrology since 2009. Focusing primarily on the intersection of ancient medicine, magic, and astrology Ryhan has hosted a YouTube channel spotlighting upcoming elections since 2018. He has also served his community on the boards of AFAN (now part of OPA) and ISAR.
